The North Face

1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket - Men's

When The North Face was creating the 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket, they wanted to look deep into the past for their inspiration. So they went back to strange time, a time sandwiched in between neon one-piece ski suits and frosted-tipped boy bands. What they came back with was this toasty down jacket, inspired by their original 1996 Nuptse Jacket. The Retro Nuptse is filled to the brim with 700-fill goose down and ready for winter, offering cozy warmth for frigid days and plummeting temps. Its retro design is complimented by its shiny ripstop shell, which boasts a DWR coating to shed off moderate winter precipitation when storms roll through. The oversized baffles ensure that warmth stays in and cold air doesn't, and there's also a convenient hood that stows away into the high collar on clear days when a wool beanie will do the trick. When you're stuck on a stuffy subway or bus, you've got a two-way zipper lets you vent the jacket however you please, while two hand pockets let you reach for your phone to pass the time.
